| | Can the sig generator pull data from aquanotes web server instead of the aquacontroller directly? | |

| | Almost there... I have ac3 w aquanotes. I want to use aquanotes as the data source. When I have the sig generator set to "ac3", the user name gets messed up and cant log in. When I set it to "ac2 w aquanotes", it logs in but doesnt recognize the conductivity probe. Any thoughts? | |

| | Okay, I added the conductivity to the AquaNotes support. $cond or $COND will catch both. | |

| Just picked up a new ACIII V3.20 and I can't for the life of me get my signature to read the variables. Anyone else having this problem?? My status page looks like this and I can't get any $pH or anything to work |

| | Okay, you didn't have the URL correct (/cgi-bin/status.cgi) and the parameter list was a few short. Looks good now. | |

| You are the King! I had the parameter list short because I kept taking things out until I could get it to display. Thanks a bunch! | |

| hello,
Just wanted to share again, my appreciation to ashlar and everyone that contributes to this signature generator feature...
I guess my acIII reset after a power failure and it reset the port # so the port forwarding on my router was now pointign to the wrong port.
The aquanotes lite that i have showed the wrong port number and although i tried changing it from there, it would not take, (although it appeared to do so)
After verifying my port number on teh AC through the setup screen, I was able to reset the port number.
But i would not have been able to do this without your help.
I appreciate it.
BUT, since my signature was down for a bit, i removed the 'code' that i place in my signature on various forums. Can you please post that code again, or show me where it is posted elsewhere on this forum???
Thanks
Bill

| Bill, Welcome back! The url to your siganture is in your forum profile. Click the My Profile at the top of the screen. Then click edit and in the signature block is the url. To see the graphing you wold need another link. For example, this is mine
<a href="http://www.rowelab.com/AquaController/index.php?scope=today&userid=slallen" target="_blank"> For the "slideshow" types of pictures that is a gif file that you would have to create. There are plenty of tools on the web that can assist with this. Keep in mind that the signature generator produces a png file. and png files do not animate. Hope that answers your questions. | |

| Bill, Yes animated is same as slideshow in this instance. Not sure what you are referring to but no signature on this site is animated, in particular none of the controller ones are animated. If you want to create an animated signature that does not have the stats on it then you can do that but it not something that we do here.
Also I stand corrected on animated png file. It is possible but only in certain browsers. This limitation prevents us from providing animated stats. | | ReefChat Staff
