Current System:
The display tank is a 225G custom Oceanview.  The dimensions are 72"L x 30"W x 24"H.  Great tank dimensions for anyone wondering   There is a single overflow box in the center of the back wall with a 1.5" drain to the sump and a 1" drain to the refugium.  The sump is a Melev Model G(66G 48"L x 20"W x 16"H).  The refugium section is roughly 20G and it's filled Chaeto over a deep sand bed.  The display tank has about 165lbs of Kaelini live rock.  This is alot less than what you'd normally find in a tank this size, but I love the openness. I really don't care for the "wall-o-rock" that I see in most tanks.  Other than being aesthetically pleasing, it also allows me to catch fish without having to rearrange or remove a single piece.  I opted for a shallow sand bed in the main tank mainly because the significant other dislikes the look of a bare bottom tank.
 
Equipment:
Pumps: I ended up with a Panworld 50PX-X return pump.  It is split into two .75" return outlets.  It also feeds my Ca++ reactor, and 2 Phosban reactors.  My closed loop pump is a Sequence Hammerhead.  The Hammerhead pump is connected to an Oceansmotions 8way.  This pump provides plenty of flow to the tank.  I have to have it turned down(via a ballvalve) just a hair to prevent my sandbed from being relocated.  The OM 8way provides great random water movement, but you have to have the space for all the plumbing associated with it.  Four of the 8way return outlets are in each of the top corners of the tank.  The other 4 are along the bottom of the back wall.  Two on each side of the overflow box.  I also have 2 modded Maxijets that I don't even run because of problems created with the sandbed.

Lighting:
My main lighting consists of 3 Sunlight Supply(SLS) Reef Optix III pendants run on SLS Bluewave magnetic ballasts.  I'm seriously considering upgrading the ballasts to icecaps because of the heat issues associated with the magnetic.  The bulbs are all 250W 10Ks.  An AB on each end and a Reeflux in the center.  I will be changing them all to Reeflux 12Ks when the time comes. The lights run from 10AM until 9:30PM. My supplimental lighting is 4 80W T5 bulbs.  There are 2 Actinic and 2 Blue+ which I also use for a dawn and dusk affect.  They operate from 9AM until 10PM.  There is also a 75W refugium grow light that runs 24x7.

Skimmer: The skimmer is a recirculating ASM G4x.  I empty the cup out about once every 6 days.
 
CA Reactor: I ended up with a Reeftek Ca++ reactor.  The brand I had before this one had issues and I ended it up selling it because I couldn't get the drip rate correct.  The Reeftek has been rock solid.  It's 24"H with a 6" diameter; plenty large enough to handle my current Ca++/Alk needs along with any future tank size upgrades. The reactor is hooked to a dual gauge regulator with solenoid and bubble counter. The reactor is regulated with a Milwaukee pH controller.

Controllers: I recently hooked up a Neptune Systems Aquacontroller III to the tank.  It is a bit pricey, but the information and piece of mind that it provides does make it worthwhile.

Reactors:
I currently run 2 phosban reactors.  I contains Phosban(6 Tbsp) and the other one runs Carbon(1 cup).  The media in each is changed out weekly.

Supplementation:
I check my Ca++, Alk, and Mg levels at least once a week.  Aside from what the Ca++ reactor supplies, I occassionally have to add a small dose of Kent Turbo Ca++(dry) and/or Part 1(Alk) of the 2 part ESV system.  Lately I've been dosing 150ml of Mg suppliment every other day to maintain my Mg levels.  It's a constant battle, at least for me, to keep my Mg at the recommended concentration.  ESV Strontium is added once a week as recommended.  I believe it's an important element in SPS health and growth.  I have recently started supplimenting a Lime drip also.  This will help maintain my Ca++ and Alk levels, but more importantly help maintain my pH which has always been on the low side.

Feeding:
My feeding consists of 1/2 to 1 sheet of Nori per day.  Every other day I feed a small ammount of a marine meat mixture concocted by a local club member.  Every 2 days I feed my brittle star a small piece of krill or silverside.
