Those of us that got the IPSF Reef Plankton in the GB, I'd like to see a brief description of how you introduced the plankton to your system. Also, what are your expectations for this product?

Me first:

I floated the bag for about 30 minutes before I began introducing small amounts of water into the bag every couple of minutes. After about 20 minutes of that, I submerged the bag to allow the contents to flow into the tank. For those of you familiar with my system, I placed the plankton in tank #1 (macro algae & DSB) of my fuge/sump system. Turned off the skimmer and plan on keeping it off at least 12 hours.

I'm not sure that I really expect any visible results that I'll be able to attribute to the Reef Plankton. To me, it is a great addition to the biodiversity of my system which IMHO is always a good thing.

May you all be well and happy.

I floated the bag for 20 minutes, then dumped 2/3 in my fuge, 1/3 into my main tank.. I did notice some of the corals like candy canes extending feeder tentacles afterward.
