So, I have slowly been switching my tank to SPS corals. After seeing some results of others trying the Pappone method, I decided I would give it a try. I am going to post pics of each SPS coral as I dose to show the growth, or lack thereof, in my system. I am running T5's over my tank. It is a 6 light, 48" Tek. My lights are set up s follows:

(front to back)
ATI - Blue+
ATI - AquaBlue
GE - 6500K
ATI - Blue+
ATI - AquaBlue
ATI - Blue+

I dose kalk in my auto topoff. I use 1 teaspoon per gallon of water. My topoff is only 2 gallons. I do that so the Kalk doesn't lose effectiveness. I have to refill it every 1.5 days. I could add topoff myself, but the auto topoff keeps the water levels the same.

I also use phosphate remover via a TwoFishies Reactor. It is running at 30-35g an hour. My sump hold about 15 gallons. It has a 5-6 gallon skimmer area, a 4-5g refugium with chaeto, and a 4-5g return area. I use a quiet one return pump. It is rated at about 400g/h at mt tanks return height. I also have a sealife systems skimmer. I will be replacing that in the coming months. For additional flow, I have 3 Koralia #4's in my tank. I add 15 drops of strontium every other day. I also add .5 capful of Iodine every other day. Calcium is added at a capful per day. I am going to be switching to Randy's Two Part soon.

Nothing will be switched out on my system until after the first 6 weeks. That way, there will be no blaming anything on something new being added. i.e., new skimmer, or two part dosing.

I will post pics in my next post.

Cool! Going to follow along with great interest. I have been considering the Pappone food myself, just not sure about it. I may start another thread like this for Prodibio as I am considering dosing that again.

Im gonna follow this too.  I am really interested in trying out either the zeovit or pappone method.  I'm kind of leaning towards the pappone b/c the zeovit seems like a HUGE amount of money.  Are you following the BC pappone method?  Dosing AAs and keeping alk and calcium at higher than NSW levels?

Sorry about being lazy and not posting pics. I'll try and get them up this weekend.

Okay, here are my beginning pics:

Not good of these 2:

After next week, I will have completed 3 weeks. I will post new pics to show the progress. I see some progress so far, but not a ton. I will say, I can see a difference. Remember, I have had most of these frags since the November frag swap. Until I started this, there was barely any progress.

Have you noticed any change in color since you started the feedings?

Isn't it a pain to keep turning stuff on and off for feeding? Think I would forget to add the collection cup back on the slkimmer.

To be honest, I have not noticed a change in color. But, I don't think pappone was designed for color enhancement. They have grown somewhat, but not like crazy. When I am finished I will post pictures of the growth I had the previous 5 months and the growth during the last 6 months. In my system, growth has increased some. In others, it would probably be more dramatic.

This is the biggest PIA during the process. I have to pull my carbon, turn off the phosban reactor and turn down my skimmer. It isn't a lot of work, but I still don't like doing that. While my growth hasn't been what 99.9% of people would call, "impressive," I am happy with it so far. Especially since I had so little growth before.

Any updates? I have been using Pappone for several months and really could not tell any difference in color or growth. I did notice that the fish love the stuff as they come out to eat it even after the lights have been off for a half hour.
