| If you have a reef keeper elite with the net module, send me a PM, I'd like to use you as a guinea pig. I have access to one controller, but I want to make sure that other RKEs provide the data in a similar fashion. Thanks! | | |

With the RKE, it's dynamic, I do not know if the it matters which order things are connected, and if you had more modules than others which would get the ID first. For instance, the PC4ID2 is a ghost one right now..... And they are going to be adding more modules.... | |

 | | 02-10-2009 4:43 AM | | I'm pulling time from the header, so I think that's safe. Temp and ph are next, not sure if that will change depending on some other variable. After that, I just parse channels and make them available, regardless of type or order. | | | |

 | | 02-11-2009 7:52 AM | | I tried to PM twice, but when I hit send it just disappears. Wierd. I would love to participate here. I would also love to learn how to inject my signature with NET updates from my system. | | | |

 | | 02-11-2009 7:57 AM | | So, you have to hit the green + sign to add your signature to the bottom of the page, then once you do that, you will get the config page.. Here is what mine looks like, URL: http://www.triznever.com:8080/rss/rss.xml User/Pass Trevor's Elos 120XL & RKE $Time
Sump Temp: $Tmp ph: $ph
MH: $RKMPC4ID1CH1 Actinics :$RKMPC4ID1CH2 Lunar: $RKMPC4ID1CH3
Primary Heater: $RKMPC4ID4CH1 Secondary Heater: $RKMPC4ID4CH2 It will then take about 5 min to generate and will be posted at the bottom of the signature page. Then the link for the image to put in your signature at the forms is

 | | 02-11-2009 1:06 PM | | Ashlar - Is the text set by the image size, so if I wanted more text on a single line like your sig, would i just increase the width of the graphic, im assuming, even tho the recommended size is what I have right now? | |

 | | 02-11-2009 1:09 PM | | Trevor, when you list $RKMPC4ID1CH1 is that the actual channel on the PC4, or is it tied to the # on the RSS page. I assumed it was the channel on the PC4, but it says it can't read $RKMPC4ID1CH1 no variable. | | | |

 | | 02-11-2009 1:27 PM | | I got the time and temp working. The issue I am running into now is when I setup $RKMPC4ID3CH1 which is module ID 03 and channel 1 and is my heater, I get the errorn no variable. I wonder if it needs to be $RKMPC4ID03CH1, since the NET shows module ID:03 let me go try that. | | | |

 | | 02-11-2009 1:41 PM | | What I found is you'll have to know what channel the PC4 is on your "secured" site, and change it, then the plug is the acutal plug number on that PC4. So for instance on my RKE, my PC4's are Channel 1, and channel 4, i have a ghost on channel 3, my SL1 is channel 2, my Net is channel 5, and MLC is channel 6 Click on the home tab, then hold you mouse over the name of the module, in the status bar it will give you the ID number /protect/module_info.htm?id=04 <--- This is the number to look for. | |

 | | 02-11-2009 1:46 PM | | hmm, see I tried that and got that error. let me plug it in like below, which would be what I see when I hover over the link for that pc4, and the channel of the heater.
$RKMPC4ID3CH1 | | | |
